Climbers and Mountaineers representative bodies
Mountaineering Scotland is the representative body for all hill walkers, climbers and ski tourers in Scotland and is a great source of information about current climbing restriction, access news and mountain safety issues.
The British Mountaineering Council (BMC) are the representative body for hill walkers and climbers in England and Wales and again they are one of the main sources of information for access, which is different from Scotland.
Based in Fort William and and with much of our work based around Ben Nevis and Glen Nevis, we also work very closely with the
Nevis Landscape Partnership and other land owners in the area.
