Our 3 or 5-day adventure course, based out of the JMCS Coruisk Hut, allows you to uncover these lesser-known trails. Experience the thrill of discovering new climbs and breath-taking views that many miss while focusing on the popular routes.
What You’ll Experience
- Day 1: Arrive at the JMCS Coruisk Hut and get oriented for your adventure. Meeting in Broadford to organise food, drink and supplies before driving to Elgol.
- Days 2-3/4: Guided exploration of the ridge’s secret paths, away from the crowds
- Daily Climbing: Experience the thrill of tackling less travelled or new routes or Cuillin classics like the famous Dubh Slabs.
- Evening Gatherings: Share stories and camaraderie around the fire after an action-packed day

The Cuillin Ridge Traverse
For the ultimate thrill-seekers, the Skye Cuillin Ridge Traverse is an exhilarating challenge. This classic mountaineering route tests your skills while rewarding you with stunning panoramic views. There may be the opportunity to attempt a traverse during this course but that will depend on weather, individual members experiences and logistics.
Due to the nature of these courses and the availability of the hut, booking in advance is recommended.
The prices quoted will include the cost of the guide and the use of the hut. You will be required to pay for your own boat transfers, food and drink.
